Having owned and enjoyed the Phoenix 2000, I snapped up its bigger brother when I saw it being sold for £126. It was unbelievable value for money. A great, well-designed glider with many good features: flaps, landing wheel, proper hinges in the control surfaces, carbon spars, including in the ailerons. They did a great job on this model. It flies very well on a big 4s battery. To coin a cliche, it does what it says on the tin. This is my go-to glider if the wind is too high for my Olympic II. I didn't bother with the graphics, but sprayed my own design for better visual orientation. Well done Volantex, shame the price has gone up so much.

Ερ: How do I bind this to Rx to my Radiomaster Tx16s? It binds okay with my Spektrum DX6i, but not to my new Tx16s. I have filled in the three info boxes in the menu: Multi; DSM; Auto, (and tried every individual DSM combination) but it still won't bind. I have also tried unplugging the servos and binding it without them, but that didn't work either. Any suggestions will be most welcome. thanks

BG462523129 HiBrian, how did you manage to bind it with your Tx16s? I can bind it with my old Spektrum, but it stubbornly refuses to bind with my Tx16s...

Works great I broke wire off beceause it wasnt secured first install I fixed it and am pleased with it binds with radiomaster TX16S and has salvaged a fun little slope fairy... Whippet old reciver burnt out!

Ερ: What voltage does this Rx use to power the servos? Specifically, if I use a 2s battery to power the Rx, will it reduce the voltage automatically to the servos - to around 4.5v? Many thanks.

BG462523129 Thanksfor the comment, I chose this to electrify Dave Rees's Martinsyde Buzzard, so I'm pleased to see that I'm not the first to choose it for that purpose. I've had the bones of this model lying around for two years, so decided to make a super lightweight full-house rc job, and see what happens...

Perfect for conversion of Guillow's rubber balsa airplanes to RC. The receiver comes with 2 pieces of JST SH connectors (1.0mm and 1.25mm) that can be soldered to pcb for motor connection. I personally use Dupont connectors for motors. 2S LiPo via classic red JST and AWG20 wire. Many companies re-brand this receiver (same product number MA-RX62HE printed on pcb). On the left side the Crossover-RX, on the right the AEORC (bought at BG). Example motors AEORC MM1104 3700KV, Racerstar 1811 2000KV.

BG462523129 Hi,I've just bought four of these little bad boys, and forgot that I had changed my power system from 1s to 2s. Can you elaborate on the diode, please? (The whole point of buying a RX156 Rx was to save the weight of an esc, I think I have undone that hope...)

these are tiny, you may need a diode if connecting to a 5v system

I think this is a great little unit. It bound with my DX6i quickly, and has maintained it ever since. I installed it in a mini-Bird of Time glider with two servos, powered it with a 1S battery, and it works faultlessly. I haven't used the esc function, yet, but it's nice to have it there in case I decide to add a small brushless motor. I have no idea what the range would be, but I don't anticipate using this glider over long ranges. the connectors make it easy to install the servos, so all in all, I'm very happy,
