Great educational kit. Complete with everything needed to make it work. I assembled with my 3 year old. Very simple controls mean a young child can operate. Not an easy kit to assemble. Confusing instructions that are missing some details. I had to cut a few screws to proper length and I had to reassemble some parts of the build a couple of times to get everything to work smoothly. There are a couple of YouTube videos that helped me figure out the assembly.

I built this with my 3 year old son. The kit is well made and of high quality materials. The packaging and organizing of parts is excellent. The clock does work, one rotation of the hand is 50 seconds. It will run for a few minutes before the weight reaches the table. My only suggestion is they incorporate a method to "wind the clock". The only way I can figure out is to hold the ratchet dogs with one hand and turn the lower blue gear with the other.

The mechanism operates too fast. I intend to add a micro-controller to add a delay and slow down the motor speed. Also for a project like this I think glue assembly is a better solution, instead of screws and nuts.

The upper eyelet fits very loose on the ball mount my A959b has the original hardware. Spring rate is good.

It is a good part. I had to drill out the front suspension spacers (as noted by others). The suspension arm mounts are too low and do not allow enough space for the original plastic arms. So I am unable to use the car until I order replacement arms (aluminum type). Or I will have to grind off enough plastic to give clearance. I have the A959b.
