BG415521193 the type of oil is silicone oil, this is sold in different viscosity (thickness) and can be changed for more or less dampening

Truck is EXTREMELY NOISY & the "upgraded shocks" are awful, they barely compress & wont spring back up (NOT oil filled), deff not worth the money for these so called upgrades.

Tires fit the HBX 16889a Pro, look very nice & are a bit wider & taller then the stock tires giving it a more aggressive capable look. Tires material is a bit harder than id like, they also arrived been pre glued to the rims, NO GOOD. Have not used them yet but I expect them to perform OK but don't expect them to last too long depending on your use. I gave 4 starts because I was aware they DON'T come with foam, but was NOT aware they were pre glued, being glued already I'm now unable to use foam as Im going to say they WILL definitely need foam inserts.

I've reviewed pretty much every 1/14 and 1/16 scale RC Car currently on the market and none are as complete as this one. It's fast (40km/h) super durable and the battery lasts for 15-20 minutes. The pro upgrades are well worth having and make this my favourite little basher truck. For a full review check out quadifyrc.com

BG371814471 your 2 front tires are backwards, the backs are correct, the fronts are wrong, the tire threads should be pointing forward like the rears not pointing backwards like the front.

La verdad que le quedó muy bonito a mi HBX 16889. Las llantas son más grandes que las originales pero encajan perfectamente y ahora se ve más todo mi coche. Gracias Bangood por la confianza y la seguridad de los envíos. 💪🏻

Delivered today to Germany, shipped on 9/6/2021. The Truck is on a completely different level than my Wltoys A979-B, the plastic even feels much higher quality than my 144001. The wheelie bar and light are easy to install. I'm looking forward to the runtime and the alleged 'indestructible', challenge accepted ;). It's a shame that I discovered it so late, definitely a better buy than the A979-B, even if it's not that fast. A Basher as it should be

Rogerwilco Yes it does, but mine didn't work properly until I changed to a thicker oil.

Awesome little basher. Very fast and takes all the abuse you can throw at it.

BG371814471 HiI just bought the HBX 16889A pro from banggood for $118 im super confused bc i thought it comes stock wt oil filled shocks?

Put these on my 16889a brushless truck, and wow, what a difference! The oil damping improves roadholding (the ability of the wheel to follow the contours of the ground) greatly, and as a consequence offers much more grip. After fitment, one of the shocks was hitting a suspension arm, and it dislodged the thread on the top, causing an oil leak. I've since turned it around and removed/refitted the top cap and it's not doing it any more, so perhaps the top cap was cross-threaded from new, I'm not sure. either way it's working great now, and I'm happy.
