It's a great module but the laser itself is not really aligned with the board . It goes a little bit on the right ! That's the right way to connect it to your arduino : "S" : signal _connected to a digital pin "-" : Connected to the ground Middle pin : connected to 5 volt

On Arduino UNO you can plug directly into GND 13 (put the middle pin in there) and use Pin 12 for the S pin.
