These are simply the best quality motors at a great price. Well made and easily mounted in any project. The worm drive makes these units lock solid when not under power so bear this in mind if you need any free wheeling in your project. This unit is 200 RPM but these motors are available in a vast range of output speeds, I have used 2 - 200 RPM units in various projects with great sucess. They respond well to cheap PWM modules or micro PWM control. From my experiments I have found that these motors will start reliably under slight load down to 15% duty at 20khz PWM. Lower gear ratios will go lower, around 10%. Typical no-load speed output at 15% duty was 10% of rated full speed across the different gear ratio motors. From my tests I can also confirm the rated output speeds across the various gear ratios to be remarkably accurate.
