Ερ: In other strips there are 3 contact between leds to re-solder cables after the strip has been cut. In this strip I can see only 2 contact on the side of each led. How does it works?

mrtimpovey the strips are split into segments with 3 contacts on each but you can only send the data in one end, its daisy chained through the in and out data pins of each WS2812 chip...
