I wanted to use this with a Samsung Tablet to allow me connect USB peripherals and also 'charge through' using a mains adapter. Although my device indicates it is charging when running through this, it actually loses power running through this hub.

I've used this a few times and for different things. Either worn as a fanny pack, attached to a rucksack as an extra pouch or even attached to the crossbar of a mountain bike. Very handy for carrying those little extras.

Bulb has been used nightly for security for six months and has now failed. I would have hoped it would lasted longer.

I'm using this lamp on a camera rig I created for a Full Spectrum Night Vision Camera. When the lamp is running it creates a very good 'throw' of light which both extends the range of the cameras view and it is also a wide 'cone' so plenty of area covered. I have CCTV at my house and used the lamp to test how it would improve the range. One of my CCTV cameras has adequate range at night for my needs but switching this lamp on extended it by at least another fifteen meters. I am considering getting another to use with my CCTV.

Lamp arrived in good time but the rubber strap/belt to secure it was not in the package so I will need to improvise when mounting. Packaging was not damaged so could not have fallen out in transit. Lamp has three switch modes, High, Low and Strobe. Not sure why this is required but it does not detract from the overall quality which is good. I'm intending to use this as a night light for a full spectrum night vision camera so depending on the 'spread' and range of the beam I may purchase more.

Covers my glass desk nicely. Because it was folded and not rolled up for shipping, it has some creases in it, but these are slowly flattening out.
