Works fine, Nice and bright and multi-color. Easy soldering. Note that the rings are already attached to each other, you just have to solder the connecting wires. See my video for more info. https://youtu.be/AmLzSUSMFxU

Then on the outer ring, Gnd, 5V, and DI get connected to the arduino board. Does all that sound correct?

What I got does not match the pictures. I want to use 5 volts as my power input. The board I received only has one power input, not the two as shown on the website. So is this one power input connection 5 volts or 9-12 volts? I bought this unit because it had a 5 volt connection- supposedly, and that's what I had in mind. Picture of what I have attached.

Numen DC9-12V for battery power, DC5V for the power cord, You can choose one of the two to supply power

Banggood LED Windmill "training" kit. Quite small but easy to build and to solder. If you are a beginner you should have no problems with this. No instructions but pretty self-explanatory and few parts and good markings on the board. The LED holes on the board were a bit tight- I had to carefully use pliers to fully pull the LED wires all the way through the holes. You get some extra LEDs. Ερ: OK, I have determined that the Q1 and Q2 are for the directional "diodes" marked M7 and the side with the lines is the negative cathode. That leaves R1 and R3 and C4 and C5. I have the tiny surface mount items in the "strips". I can see 104 printed on one set and someone wrote 27P on the other set but which ones go to the R's and which ones go to the C's?

m4trix I'd say, that the 104 are the resistors (R=104Ohm) and the 27P are the capacitors (C=27Picofarad), which would be quite the values for a LED-Board like that.

Ερ: There are 3 different surface mount items that I can't tell where they go. One strip of 3 has 27P hand written on it. Another strip of 4 has no markings. And 2 other thicker ones have M7 on them. Not sure exactly where they go on the board since no schematic and the "picture" provided only shows the larger components. How about providing a picture of where they go. That's where we really need help!
