got 3 of them in 15 days from china. used them for a day now and i have noticed that their sensors must be way too sensitive. i already have the movement sensor in "low" setting but it still records on cat's movement. the worst is that it has no sound level settings so if you don't disable the microphone, it will record almost continuously even by a far or weak sound. of course in this case you have to go to settings and connect microphone first in order to speak with the outsider. Needs a software update definitely that it will hopefully solve this issue. apart of this i am also a little worried because there is no cap for the tf card slot eventhough it was noted as waterproof. i have them under roof but humidity could affect it possibly.

arrived fast and the package was fine. it could have some filling material in the big box though. i was kind of worried because it couldn't connect with the app and strangled for almost a month with the support, fotos, videos etc just to finally send me a data file and upgrade the cam. i suppose it didn't have the needed data of our internet carriers here in Greece. i would expect them to already know this problem and solve it faster as i have seen many people facing the same issue. After 2 days of use i can definitely say i am very satisfied. the solar panel does its job very well even in cloudy weather and while testing the cam all day long in high sensitivity, hd video quality, in rf mode(no light). i see min 90% charge(i haven't bought the cheapest batteries). something that was also bothering me before was if the cam can be used just with the tf card and when i read my tf card before i made the upgrade, i found a bunch of fotos and videos stored there! so yes it can be used but you would probably need to find a way to mute it because it keeps asking for pairing! the people from the support were kind and fast so i am not happy about it but i have to take off 1 star because of all the wasting of time.

BG462150131 προσεξε η sim να ειναι "data sim"! ειχα παρομοιο προβλημα και μου εστειλαν μεσω email ενα αρχειο για να της κανω αναβαθμιση με τα APN στοιχεια των Ελληνικων παροχων.

i bought this to use it in a property that has no electricity because even if it is a solar powered 4G camera, it has the appearance of a common camera so i thought a burglar wouldn't care to steal it. basic cons now: it has no option for setting the arming whenever you like automatically so you need to turn the arming on and off everytime from your smart phone if you need it to record let's say just on night hours. this is a huge problem considering it is a battery powered device and consums valuable data whenever is recording! batteries seem to keep their charge enough but the solar panel is too small to increase the charge lever noticeably so even on sunny days the charge level doesn't seem to increase. it has all buttons etc under a sealed lid so if you need to reset it or access the cards, you need to climb up there and unscrew the 6 screws it has. don't expect any support from the vendors as they never helped me. only bangood's support asking me to wait or offering me bg points that never really got. the problem was that it wouldn't detect my 4G sim(vodafone CU Greece) and even if i had sent them all my APN details they couldn't help me. (for another 4G cam, vendor had sent me a data file to upgrade it and that fixed it). After a month they asked me to send it back to china by post so to avoid all this trouble i decided to energise a new pre-paid 4G sim card and it worked! i am not really sure how sim works but they are not free at least in my country. i hope they upgrade their firmware soon to give this feature of programmable arming!

Ερ: i cant do pairing! i have a blinking blue-red led and after QR code it says "no smart device detected". i have inserted my phone's sim card and another one of different carrier. both tf and sim cards click when inserted. i have also tried to reset but still the same. my phone also can't detect the device/network.

BG462150131 they will possibly sent you a file to upgrade the firmware after you give them info about your APN details, at least i am on this stage right now!
