Love my new phone! The F1 Play comes in premium-looking packaging, with a case and screen protector already applied. Includes a USB-C cord, a European-plug charger, and a SIM key (thanks!). The instructions have some delightful Engrish. The phone itself is a very nice phone: slim, bright, high-res screen, waterdrop camera notch, and has great performance and battery life. Not only can I get away without charging during the day (which my old phone recently started to require, hence this replacement), but it can go at least two full days on a charge; haven't pushed it further yet. And that's with gaming, which this phone is quite competent at. The camera is decent; at first, it had two camera apps, but the recent OTA update consolidated them. The new one has an excellent bokeh mode; see attached. 4G performance on Canada's Fido network also seems solid. Not sure why it says "4G" instead of "LTE" like my last phone; as far as I could tell from the specs, the F1/Play supports all Fido bands, so it might be that Android changed the labeling sometime since version 6. My only complaint is that it is slow at sending MMS GIFs. My Android 6 phone failed to send them altogether though, so this is still a huge step forward. Final comment: all the documentation and Android itself declare the phone to be a UMIDIGI F1, but I believe it is indeed the Play version as it reports the 6GB RAM, 64GB storage of the Play. Assuming that is indeed the only difference between the two versions, I would recommend this one (Play) as the SD card capability mitigates the effect of the reduced storage and 6GB RAM means the phone doesn't close my apps or games until I ask it to, even if I switch to another one for awhile.
