kross1 We have gone to 4.4 miles on the 100 mW setting with the stock antennas before hitting failsafe. With better antennas, and using a higher wattage setting it will go further, but we have not tried yet.

kross1 No. Receivers get f/w upgrades via connecting them via a 3-pin cable to the Taranis transmitter, with the F/W for the receiver preloaded into the FIRMWARE sub-directory of the SD card of the Taranis transmitter. This is comparable to how you upgrade the transmitter module itself.

I knew buying this was a gamble, too bad I lost so badly. I received a few unrecognizable bits for micro-sized airplanes which included 1 micro-servo, parts for another micro-servo, 1 lightweight 4" prop, and a few supports and pushrods. Too bad I don't do anything with micro-planes. I knew it was a gamble, oh well. Banggood has been really good in many other ways, so this just evens it out a bit I guess, but I'll NEVER waste money on this again.

For the price, you can't beat these. These are small little cameras/transmitters, great for small models. I have tested the TX02 in the past on FPV planes that I normally use for mid-distance, these have worked well out to 3-4,000 feet with a 3-turn helical on my goggles. Yes you can go further than that, I chose not to. We are going to use these on small flying wings (~60-70 cm) which are built quick and cheap, for combat flights and other fun abuse. The TX02 should be ideal for these models being small and light, as well as good and inexpensive.

First I have not yet flown this plane, to be fair and set the stage accurately. This plane however is well known in the R/C community, so I have no concerns about posting an "early review". If you want a 6' 7" (HUGE!) flying wing, but this one from Banggood. While other businesses sell this plane, their shipping fees are crazy compared to Banggood. Seriously, the savings on shipping will pay for a FPV camera and transmitter! This plane is well designed and built, and looks fantastic. I have it built and (almost) ready for the first "toss-tests". I have installed an iNAV based flight controller, Taranis X8R receiver with GPS and lipo sensor, and a TON of lights as well as FPV camera and transmitter. I cannot wait for the snow to stop, and the weather to improve, so I can start flight tests.

I spent a TON of time looking at LED strip lights for use inside a radio controlled plane, and found these. BUY THEM! These are 5V, so a normal UBEC will drive them.They come with a USB port attached to the cable, so you can test them on a laptop. Cut the cable, it only has 2 wires, ground and positive. By default when powered on they start going thru the 360 different flash patterns at full brightness, which is great. They have a remote control with which you can select the pattrern/brightness you like, and save that as the default. LOVE these lights for R/C plane use!

First off, I have not yet flown this motor, so this is an "early" review. Motor looks decent, great price, sounds good, spins a 12x6 prop (in the shop) well, but I have not measured the current or run it for a long time yet.
