billyh42 I'm not aware of any glass TTL scales that are IP65 rated. This is because the scale must move along the track and the track is through necessity protected by rubber "wipers" or "blinds". However, like most scales they will be fine unless you are thinking about spraying them with coolant directly on to the reader as the wipers or blinds will always be open at the position of the reader. Usually these scales are mounted so that the wiper or blind edge is at the bottom or the rear. The scales are also protected with an aluminium shield.
