Gallium I get about 1W when using 5V USB output to charge an iPhone in direct sunlight ... my current meter shows output at 5.3V and a draw of from 0.2A to 0.23A)

Excellent lighter and curiosity. This sits on my desk and acts like a magnet for others to pick it up and try it out. Still on the original charge after a month of casual lighting. I don't smoke so this gets used as a lighter for the gas BBQ.

Long lasting night light. Once you get used to needing your phone to turn it on, this works well as a lamp or night light. It can be programmed to stay on all night or just for a few hours. The light output can be set very low making it a good kids room night light. If you forget to program it at night, it will turn on automatically when it detects movement in the room. My only niggle is that the connection with the charging base is fiddly, needing to be positioned in exactly the right spot to start charging.

My first ceramic knife cost $140. This full set of 4 was $25 and well made. The size variety makes them very useful for food preparation in our kitchen. One way they stand out from another low cost set I've had was that the handles are a much better design making them feel safer to use.

This model has an easy to use mechanical zoom with good brightness through the range. I much prefer the side mount thumb switch to the usual clicker switch on the barrel end. It's also machined very well and is solidly built.

This item arrived with almost no packing, just the thin retail display box, but somehow survived intact. It's an 8-inch glass globe connected loosely to a plastic base which houses the electronics. Another one I'd ordered elsewhere shipped the same way and was in pieces on arrival. It works really well, best seen in a darkened room or at night, quite dim in daylight. When touching the globe, the plasma arcs follow your hand to discharge the current through you. There's some debate on whether this is a good idea but the consensus seems to be it's OK to do so in moderation. The two on/off buttons are flimsy, one of them controls a tinny music track which doesn't add value. Really pleased with the item.

Very light and at 32mm a good size for the 'main' ring that helps keep my keys tidy. They have quite a bit of friction compared to a steel wire ring so I purchased a couple of smaller 20mm titanium key rings that I attach the keys to and then attach those two rings to the larger ring. Are they necessary? no, but I just like them because they are made of Titanium, well made and look great.

This is second one I've purchased and it is as good as the first. If the word 'defective' means the tiniest chip off one edge then that's very minor and hard to even see. Shining a torch through the polished faces in a darkened room delivers a bright rainbow of colour. Seems a very complicated item to manufacture for such an affordable price.

People can't resist giving this a nudge when walking by my desk. The original base is chromed plastic which is fine but this does make it easier for people to knock it over. I put the figurine on a heavy piece of stainless steel cylinder and that made the action more robust. It also added more friction for the figurines 'feet' and reduced the amount of times it falls off from over exuberant pushing.

I bought this for my son to use as a school science project. It looks fantastic just holding it in your hand but shining a touch through any of the faces in a darkened room shows a primary colour display in a way that a normal glass prism never seems to achieve. I don't understand the use of the word 'defective' in the title as this one arrived in perfect, unmarred condition. Have purchased a second one as a desk ornament.

Nicely detailed and built from quality materials, brass gears, aluminium framing and stainless steel fasteners. Very smooth spinning action which lasts for a surprising amount of time given that it's turning 4 brass gears. Attractive shelf object. Great value.

This is a nicely designed and inexpensive plasma lamp that looks grea in operationt. When you touch the glass sphere, the plasma lines travel towards your fingers and this is fascinating for people to try. I bought a 2amp USB power plug that allows me to leave it plugged into a wall socket and easily switch it on and off for demonstrating.

This model is larger than I expected (in a good way). Clearly demonstrates the principals of an electric motor and is a great addition to a curiosity cabinet. I'm hoping my son's physics class covers electricity so it'll get some educational use as well. Great price too.

My recommendation to DIGOO is to start making clocks that remember their settings and keep time when the power goes off or you unplug it to move it into another room or you add batteries . Charge more for the feature. It's hard to recommend this even for the kids room as they are always pulling out plugs to put in chargers ... and off you go again resetting the clock. .
