Wonderboy It has a mixer to mix left and right on two motors (like a tank). It is proportionate, not on-off).

The hardware looks very good, see photos. The current activity (e.g. Nimh charge) is displayed very small on the screen. There is currently no cycle function, just charge and discharge. Bluetooth module is there but doesn't show up and the App is not yet available for download. The fan is running louder than necessary on low wattage charge/discharge. NiMH cell number can be set only automatically. When charging, it displays 0pcs on a 4 cell pack, see photos. It seems to end NiMH charge early, likely due to mistaken cell count. This has great potential with better firmware, Bluetooth and app.

Works, but Not as reliably as the Apple recommended product. Needs to be unplugged and replugged from time to time.

I opened it up to fit a longer cable and I am glad I did. The ground wire wasn’t connected to the housing and the live wire came loose because of a cold solder joint. Had to re-solder. Added shrink tubing as it was only thinly insulated with tape before. To connect the ground wire I drilled a hole in a pod that is already in the housing and added threads and a screw which is easy if you have the tools.

Wonderboy The size of the one I received is 61x33x19mm, significantly bigger than the prior respondent indicated. Too big for my application.
