samueljoos The batterypack snaps on and It is locked mechanicaly with 2 pins. When you want to unlock you need to press a button in the app. It’s not possible to unlock it without the app

I received the doorbell about a month ago. At first there where a lot of issues with this doorbell. I couldn't get a video stream I wasn't able to unlock the battery or set any of the settings that are provided. I had to contact banggood multiple times to resolve these issues. The support I received from banggood was ok they send a doorbell free of charge and while the new doorbell was being shipped to my home. An new update of the iOS cloudedge app resolved all of the issues I had with the doorbell. With the result that I now have two working doorbells for the price of one. About the doorbell: What's in te box: - the doorbell + batterybox. - a power adapter you can connect to the original wiring of your old doorbell. - some screws and plugs to attach the doorbell to the wall. What wasn't inside the box: - an angle mounting bracket. - an indoor jingle. The package says it's optional but I can't find it on banggood. About the design: - The pictures on this website are a little prettier than the real life product. It looks like aluminum on the pictures but its plastic. It isn't ugly but less stylish as I thought it would be. - The detachable battery-box is a really handy feature. You can easily unlock it with the cloudedge app. I do wonder what happens when the battery is completely empty because there is no other way to detach the doorbell. About the app: - The app had it's issues but they seem to be resolved with the latest version. - I am pretty impressed by the quality of the streaming video and audio. I answered a couple of doorbell call's while on a 4g connection and . It already helped me a lot to receive some other packages. - There is a setting to detect visitors or any human activity in front of the doorbell. It works but it's a bit to sensitive for our use-case. You can change the sensitivity but when you put it on low the camera reacts to slow.

samueljoos Yes, you can add multiple devies. You do need an e-mail account for every device though. The first device wil have all the settings and all other services will only have access tot the main features of the doorbell

samueljoos It isn’t 4K video. I don’t think it would have a lot of added value because stream 4K might slow down the streaming.

Ερ: I purchased a unit and it worked fine, till by some reason it lost communication with my wifi router. I restarted the router without results, the router is working fine with any PC, but the set is not connecting. I see I need to restart the unit, but it is not possible due to its battery pack is plugged and locked by the internal motorized mechanism. What can I do in this case ?

samueljoos There is also a reset button on the batterypack. You need a paperclip to press it.
