No battery was received with unit, and instructions are not in English so I can`t tell what battery should be used. The packaging of this unit was terrible, the box was severely distorted and the aluminum bar of the unit is bent. Packaging should include a piece of wood or heavy plastic , or a wood box, to protect the unit. The clear plastic display window is badly scratched also, as if something heavy was thrown across it. Not usable as received. Not impressed so far.

CNR6400 Whatbattery fits in these units? got mine today , no battery no english instructions. Packaging was terrible, there is a bend in the aluminum bar of the device. Box was not suitable for international shipping. Thanks!

Well worth the money, perfect for small lathe and anyone looking for cheap DRO, Works well and quite accurate now have X & Y converted to digital

Thack I run mine on a 50:1 gasoline / two-stroke oil mix. Don't forget to lubricate the little end bearing occasionally - it is a plain bush bearing with no oil feed.
