Arrive today. Plugged in and worked fine (apart from no ability to change temp to F, no big deal). Following instructions in reviews -- the speed on the COM port was important to set as described. Windows came up with a higher baud rate and nothing happened. Very happy -- read https://aaqr.org/articles/aaqr-18-10-lcs-0390 which is a professional evaluation of the unit. "The Plantower, ... are improvements over the above sensors as they include a fan and use a fine laser beam instead of the broader infrared beam for scattering (Cavaliere et al., 2018; Zheng et al., 2018; Hapidin et al., 2019; Levy Zamora et al., 2019)."

This is a nice product. Arrived quickly and seems to be working OK although I haven't checked the accuracy yet. Installation of the downloaded software went well and the software is actually pretty useful. Many people mentioned setting the time. If you click on the Equipment and then Setting menu items the bottom line reads Setting Time and there is a Calibration button. If you click that it should set the Date and time correctly. The date is in DDMMYY format. Also, the export data file defaults to an xls extension and Excel will complain when you try to open it, although it will do so. Actually, the file extension should be changed to .xml since that is the actual format. Again, this is a nice device and the sales price was good.
