BAM5 No, it's definitely an outrunner. You can tell from one of the pictures.

Bought this to use with the TS100. Cannot deliver the power for the TS100 even though it should be more than adequate. The weight is a serious indicator of how cheap it is. it's so light you'd think it was intended to be put on a quadcopter. The product also looks nothing like the picture, but that wouldn't be a problem if it worked...

Ερ: why is there solder pads on the bottom? they will short the motors if placed directly on the carbon

BAM5 Versatility most likely. Someone's application may require soldering the wires from one side to the other. If iyou don't need them you can just cut the traces as well so they aren't at any potential.
