CrispyDuck The power supply needs to be connected to the mains power. It then provides DC to the motor. Use google for the correct wiring connections. DO NOT TOUCH THE WIRES OR CONNECTORS WHEN PLUGGED IN AS IT IS VERY DANGEROUS. See thingiverse for a 3D printed cover for the power supply connectors to make it safer.

CrispyDuck The voltage in the UK while stated as 240v is generally between 230 and 250v. It can and does however go much higher when it spikes! Most equipment designs take this into account as it only spikes for a very short time (ms). That said there is no guarantee that this has been designed in such a way. If you are unsure you should ask advice from some of the many users of this motor in the many online cnc forums before buying.

CrispyDuck There is a 3D printable bracket for the motor clamp to attach to as well as a better fan on thingiverse.

CrispyDuck The thread is 9mm long with the next bit (thinner shaft without a thread) being 2mm.The next bit (thicker shaft) is 5mm long.The final bit is 26mm long.(I tried to do a text diagram of it, but the crap support system puts it all on 1 line!)

CrispyDuck I'veused it with several different IP cam brands. All the ones I tried worked well for me including the bare camera with ethernet cable on BG.
