Has 4 modes (3 mode with different blinking patterns and one without any blinking). Long press to turn it on and long press to turn it off so you don't need to go through every single mode to turn it off, which is great. Always turns on in the same mode (it has no memory). Battery lasts about 3 to 4 hours and there's no indication of low battery, it just shuts off. Uses a kind of rubber band to attach to the bike/pole. Don't know how long it will last, specially considering you have to remove it to recharge the battery (the usb plug is on the back part which is covered when attached to the bike). Can't say I'm confident about the band's durability. It's bright enough to signalize to others that you exist.
