This torch is the best I've ever seen. It is super bright (especially for such a little thing) and the metal casing gives good protection. On a sunny day the beam is barely visible. At night this torch is a second sun ;) One negative thins: the little cord breaks really fast. The torch has got 5 modes: bright, a little bit bright, not so bright, strobe, and a SOS call. The zoom works perfect. The torch almost turns into a lightsaber when fully zoomed in ;) Great product. I've already bought two for myself (I lost the first one...)

The consumption is regulated, so with a lower input voltage, the current increases. The electronic has no cut-off protection for lithium Ion batteries, so it is still active under 3V input voltage. I have at home a flashlight 3W and she lights the same as the one sold here. I would recommend it, however, because at this price it is difficult to find something better.
