Yes the item is made of metal tubes and plastic ends which in the picture seems OK but when it's in your hands the prospective changes. The finishing is passable but the two tubes the slides into each other (for focus) are loose and does not give you a good feel when you extend / retract them. They are also held together by a cheap screw that acts as the sliding guide. The Opening slit where the light enters the Spectroscope is way too big so no matter what type of light you are looking at, it all look the same. Save your money. I tried to select 1 star in the options but it will not let me so I added it to the title of the review.

Πρέπει να επιδιορθωθεί, να τοποθετηθεί καλά το προσοφθάλμιο, να έχει μεγάλη σχισμή και να βγει από το κέντρο. Η σχισμή ρυθμίστηκε και η ολίσθηση είναι ορατή, αλλά το πλάτος είναι πολύ μικρό. Λαμβάνοντας υπόψη την τιμή, αλλά θετική αξιολόγηση.

Nutno opravit, špatně nasazený okulár, příliš široká štěrbina a obraz zcela mimo střed. Štěrbina upravena a spectrum je viditelné, ale šířka velmi malá. Vzhledem k ceně, ale kladné hodnocení.

Nice design for small hand held spectroscope. Brass with glass lenses. Slit aperture way too wide. Good internal crystal produces nice wide spectrum. Needs to be better handled by vendor and shipper. Arrived with broken eyepiece lens, detached lens cap, detached slit aperture.
