Have used this head torch a few times now and think it's excellent value for money. The beam is quite narrow so it has a long reach but is still very usable at short range. I thought the red light mode was a gimmick until I actually started using it and now think it's ideal for illuminating objects at arms length while avoiding dazzling the people around me. When connected to a USB charger a red light glows which then changes to green once complete so you can easily see when it's ready. Some minor downsides, the rubber cover over the micro USB charge port is a little bit fiddly to lift out of the way and the provided charging cable is rather short at about 30cm. I initially had concerns about how secure the tilt mechanism was but it's been fine so far. Perhaps someone who goes running or jogging would be better placed to comment on this.
