I replaced the zinc metal gearbox in my M41 with this and I am very happy with how much smoother this gearbox runs. It is definitely built better, and with the long red motors my tank has plenty of power. The only downside is that one of the output shafts is slightly bent, so the drive sprocket wobbles. I want to install driveshaft support bearings but I don't think I can with the bent shaft.

The premium transmission from Heng Long makes a valuable impression with the 380er tuning engines, but I have not installed it yet and therefore can not say much about practical experience. But that should work well. Fully ball bearing, steel gears.
