JohnS Magnification depends on the focal length of the objective (main lens) and the focal length of the eyepiece. The focal length of the objective looks to be about 300mm, so, with an eyepiece with focal length, say, 10mm, the magnification would be 30X. (F1÷F2) The Barlow lens usually multiplies by 2 and the erector lens by another 1.5X, so 90X by then. A shorter focal length eyepiece will increase the magnification still further.

This order was, as usual with Banggood, delivered well within the stated timeframe and the products were as described and well packaged to avoid damage.The quality was good and the items will be used in the laboratory of a small, private school. The products from Banggood are in-expensive and, being in small quantities, are ideal for us as we do not have the students, nor the funds, to buy large amounts from the regular lab suppliers.

Received promptly and have installed in a clock where the original movement had failed. The new movement works well and is much quieter than the old one. I had to cut the hands down a little but that was easy and the result is A1. Excellent.

It has been running off solar panels for about 3 weeks and does a reasonable job. It sometimes needs a 'kick start, in the mornings but then runs all day until the sun goes off the solar panels. I am using it to pump water from a small swimming pool, through a solar heated panel to keep the pool useable for longer. It works as advertised.
