Impressive, beefy plane, super fun, especially next to its 400mm cousins from eachine or volantix. Robust foam body and very decent electronics, red and green nav lights are bright day/night and controllable from given radio, and white/yellow flood light. on the bottom. Requires more experienced pilot than the planes in the war bird seres, I learned that and now have 3 of this XK a280 (2 crashed and glued them back, upgraded props to 7x5, 2 vane which gave it so much more power and custom painted one of them. Assembly is easy, radio is sufficient( never had a fly away with a280) trying to get it to bind with my new spectrum DX6e however this is my first universal radio and RX's w/ telemetry and im not quite sure between the radio, receiver or flight controller &gyro. I hear it can be done. Super gratifying to fly, very visible even at night, no 1 button stunt, durable and easily fixable with glue or foam clay for large and aesthetic damages. This is still top tier in my collection but not as cool as the UMX A-10 T II, but thats a twinl 30mm EDFs, flights like a really fast trainer, but apples to coconuts in compairason. Hope buying 3 over time and keeping one stock speaks for its self. P.S. if anybody knows how to toss this radio for a spek DX6e, PLZ let me know. keep your eyes in the sky.

Ερ: I have read in users comments that these planes have Steerable landing gear. My P52D does not. Is the T28 nose wheel steerable? Thanks. Jim

BG152168194 The 550 or 600mm p-51 has a rudder linked steerable rear wheel. XK is the brand, it’s a way bigger bird than the volantix or eachine 400mm line. Also very easy and satisfying to fly.

I finale got the replacement in as the 2nd unit osd chip or something when. This is a great board from what I've read. The board is delicate and you need to make sure you don't have and solder joints. So on this Fc I cut down the pin end so they are almost flush. I spread Flux on the pins this time not the board. The solder will flow! Next instead of soldering long leads. I soldered a xt60 directly to the board. I also soldered a separate power lead for cam/vtx as they are both above 5v operating power. Next I solder another xt60 to the esc side for a PnP fc. Keep in mind again this fc is sensitive solder quick and don't leave the tip sitting too long.

Ερ: what else is needed to fly? Does it come with Tx/Rx and what radios work, I don’t see one in the kit? Also what battery specs are optional? Cheers.

Thurloug Guffaw It needs servo, propeller, transmitter, receiver, battery and charger. You can refer to the recommended parts section.
