pfeerick Documentation for the Multi Protocol module is at www.multi-module.org You've not specified what type of radio you are using - whether it is running OpenTX, EdgeTX or needs the protocol to be set via the control knob on the back. If it is OpenTX or EdgeTX, you simply go in the model settings, enable the External RF module, set it to MULTI, and then pick the V761 protocol. If it is a transmitter that requires you to use the control knob on the module to set the protocol because the radio is unable to, it is somewhat more complicated (and also requires that you are running the PPM firmware, not the Serial control firmware). Basically, you can access up to 70 protocols via the knob, and they are divided into groups or banks of 15. V761 is protocol 48. So you would set the knob to 15 to set the bank. 48 should be in bank 4 (1 is 1-14, 2 is 15-28, 3 is 29-42, 4 is 43-56, 5 is 57-70), so you would power on the module (i.e. turn on the radio), and see how many times the led blinks. if it is not 4, short-press the button to change banks. The led should come on for a second, and then resume blinking. repeat the short presses until it does 4 blinks. Then, power off the radio. Now, since you want protocol 48, 48-43 equals, 5, so now set the knob to 5. That should be it. When you power up the module, it should be in the V761 protocol. Hope that helps. Checkout out the Multi documentation if you get stuck, you'll find it very help, and there is also the RCGroups forum you can g

Ερ: Will this one work with Frsky Tandem X18SE? does it cover dsmx and SFHSS protocols?

Ερώτηση από Ricky επί 2023-03-26 05:25:42

pfeerick DSMX and SFHSS protocols, yes. I can't comment on X18SE compatibility from personal experience, but it is the correct module type - Lite (Nano), and ETHOS does have support for MPM, so it should work just fine.

Ερ: will this module fit and work with radio master boxer tx with edgetx software?

Ερώτηση από jcaban01@hotmail.com επί 2023-02-23 12:49:24

pfeerick Yes, this works perfectly fine with the RM Boxer and EdgeTX. I would suggest you also look at the RM 4IN1 that has just been released if considering this.

Ερ: Hi, will this work with the Flysky fs-st8 transmitter? Has anyone tested this ? Thanks

Ερώτηση από Madav65 επί 2023-01-05 12:36:07

pfeerick I've not used this transmitter personally, but since this version of the module supports setting the protocol via the rotary switch on the back when used with PPM only transmitters, and the FS-ST8 does appear to support PPM for the external RF module, it should work. However, it would be better to get confirmation from someone with a FS-ST8 and IRX4 Plus MPM.

Ερ: Can it use the ELRS protocol?

Ερώτηση από firoz επί 2022-10-05 07:33:35

pfeerick No, MPM does not currently support ELRS. There was a pull request to add support for it, but I doubt that will happen given the pace of development of ELRS. Having a dedicated ELRS module will be the better option long term.

Ερ: is it pre soldered? thank you

Ερώτηση από BG413733249 επί 2022-08-21 03:32:59

pfeerick The ones I purchased came with the bullet connectors pre-soldered and heatshrinked, and the battery wire soldered on, but no connector fitted so you could solder your own on.

pfeerick I've not used the Flysky i6 transmitter personally, but it is telemetry capably, and has the sensors list and choose sensors options under "system - rx setup". However I do have both this receiver and the smaller 6CH version, and to use sensors to monitor things like flight battery, altitude, RPM you use the SENS iBus port. And for basic RSSI, receiver voltage, etc, you don't need to connect anything, that is sent anyway.

pfeerick@BG502556513 Becauseyou may use more than 60A in a burst, rather than continuous. Although having said that, XT60 is actually rated at 30A continuous, 60A burst, although many multirotor fliers are subjecting them to more than 30A continuous without issue for 3-5 minute flights.

Ερ: Does this support v761 protocol

Ερώτηση από Tee JC επί 2022-05-19 08:32:09

pfeerick This module supports all of the protocols that the MPM firmware offers. V761 is listed as a supported protocol. So it should work. I would update the module bootloader and firmware after receiving it, so you get any bugfixes and updates to the firmware and protocol support. If you have any issues with the V761, report it to the project github, and I'm sure it will be sorted out.

Ερ: can i use crossfire?

Ερώτηση από Bolantoy επί 2022-03-03 09:32:00

pfeerick You can use any radio system with this, since you need to provide the receiver. Crossfire, Spektrum, Flysky, ELRS etc will work just fine.

Ερ: Does it have to be oiled? If so, how.

Ερώτηση από BG408448331 επί 2022-01-13 03:05:27

pfeerick Yes, as otherwise the chain will rust. I sprayed it with a silicone based oil spray, but a couple of drops of any ordinary machine oil should be fine, across the whole chain, to act as a lubricant and a barrier.

Ερ: what does it do??

Ερώτηση από Russ Saling επί 2020-11-05 01:32:44

pfeerick It is a telemetry sensor for the flight battery - i.e. it lets you measure your main flight battery voltage and have that send back your transmitter so you can set up low battery warnings.

Ερ: What does a flashing led mean?

Ερώτηση από BG564854946 επί 2022-01-06 02:50:22

pfeerick I only know of the sensors flashing when the receiver is binding, so perhaps you have the bind plug in the receiver still?

Ερ: does the motors on this have bushings or bearings?

Ερώτηση από helifreak επί 2021-12-23 06:28:22

pfeerick They're a SE0802 16000KV motor, and you can get the illustration for the motor from the happymodel website. I haven't had the motor apart yet so can only see the eclip\circlip and what looks like a brass spacer... so it may have a bearing, but I find it hard to believe for that size and price.

pfeerick No. And the T16 doesn't have any facility for touch screen anyway.

pfeerick I don't see there being any issue... ELRS + TX16S works just fine. Your only problem will be the receiver, as you will need a receiver with PWM outputs for driving the servos and ESC. If you're thinking about using something like the Matek ELRS-R24-S or ELRS-R24-D in conjunction with their CRSF to PWM converter though you should be fine (I'm still waiting for them to become available at a local reselller so don't have them yet), since you only need 3 fully proportional channels for this plane.

Ερ: Will a 4s 5000mah lipo fit in this?

Ερώτηση από BATAN επί 2021-10-15 01:14:15

pfeerick The recommended size is 2S-3S 900-1500mAh. A 4S 5000mAh will not only not fit, but the plane won't even be able to take off with that sort of weight. In other words, it will have the flight characteristics of a common house brick.
