Ερ: in the pictures, the horn label shows 110db each. but the adverts says 350db. why? which is correct?

Chordmerchant They are 110 db @ 8 volts, 9 amps each. Running at 12V and considerably higher amperage, you could expect sound pressure levels of 165 db each, or 330 db or higher from both horns combined.

Chordmerchant no retractable tail gear on the version 2 model. you can find the motor and controller, plus servo and linkage to have a retractable rear gear. But honestly, it's really not worth the hassle to do it. allot of extra wiring and the control box make it a bit of a mess. I did it and it looks great, very scale operation but I would not do it again.

Chordmerchant Geridone: actually, no. This was my first thought as well. I can't remove anymore materiel from the back of the engine cowl without having to hog out a bunch of material on the inside in front of the motor. besides, like I mentioned, this plane should never have shipped with this shoddily cut/fit cowling. it's a great flier and I can live with the gap. I may even buy another one with this new price I'm seeing here!

Paul You can get it from fms rc models. Just quite expensive.

Chordmerchant I’d say no. The “beer” inside the container is non-concentric, as it is a fluid and will always be off center do to the force of gravity. Your empty can however would float nicely!
Joss I think you'll need to make up a drawbar from all thread. I'm all metric so I'm not familiar with imperial.
