This unit does exactly what it claims. I built this into a 90 volt power supply and can now charge all of my scooters and other devices. I’m getting >300 watts for my Kaabo Mantis!

tedhancock68 As with all ESCs, the straight battery voltage of 1S is passed to the motor. That would be 3.6 volts nominal, 4.2 volts max.

It was very difficult to get this operational. At first it was just moving violently and randomly. After some calibration, and mounting the accelerometer level, it began to calm down, but there was constant vibration and failed movement. After scouring the Internet for solutions, I finally found a vibration video where the solution was in the comments. The trick is to set the torque to about 10% of the original values. I don’t know how the other buyers got this working so easily. I spent many frustrating hours resolving this issue caused by radically inappropriate default settings.

This is a good load with terrible instructions. The basic functionality is all there but the app is ridiculous. Nothing can be set and the graph scale can’t be altered. I’m testing a 19v power supply shown on a 300v scale. The device can’t even handle 300v! It ignores my QC trigger board, so USB-C testing is absolutely impossible. This device is very good at handling high power sources. It could be a great device if any actual engineers had been consulted during design and testing.

These are very useful for small, tight battery packs. A little bit thin so not as strong as I thought. Be careful not to use high amps when welding or you will burn holes. Have not tested current handling.

This really doesn't have the appearances of an ISDT product. It arrived well packaged, and undamaged, but with minor fit and finish problems not normally seen in ISDT products. For example, the XT60 connector is not aligned with the edge of the case. It's slightly askew, which means the original factory cut into the metal plate is off. Also, the current "button" did not line up with the hole. The software looks like it was written for DOS in the mid 1980s. You can't select a port and there is no two way communication. The discharger restarted after cell voltage setting, but not after calibration, so I thought it was dead. Mine also claims to be a 100W discharger on the case, which made me think I had an upgraded model. No such luck! Even with a fully charged 4S pack, it won't budge above 80w. People have said it before, but this unit is LOUD. Think hairdryer on low. The fan starts up immediately and is out of balance. Your discharger will "walk" all over the surface, so be careful. In summary, it's doing the job but is poorly constructed, noisy, poorly interfaced, high priced, and has misleading labeling about the supposed 100w capacity. Not up to ISDT standards.

Mine doesn't work at all sadly. I put a USB tester/meter on it and it only generates 600ma on every 30th crank or so. The power lasts exactly one crank. Useless.

tedhancock68 Typically there is a 2 volt differential requirement for most boost modules. In fact, in the description they show 10 as the minimum input and 12 as the minimum output.
