First impression was that of a solid construction. Made of steel and thick alu parts, similarly to a motorcycle. Ordered it from PL, arrived after a week. Package was in good condition (apart from a small hole at the center - maybe pierced for inspection..) and so was the product, without any apparent shipping damage. Left blinker was not working, and left headlight had a missing screw. Opened the battery compartment for inspection, and in my unit the 38 Ah battery module seemed to occupy a bit more space than units from some reviewers. Cable management seemed a bit scary, absolute spaghetti. Mine didn't have any thermal pad for the speed controllers. Fixed the blinker myself, problem was in the switch in the handlebar, which was mechanically blocked from moving to the left completely. Lateral LED's are easy to disable by disconnecting the corresponding cables. The red ring and internal red light from the Cree headlights are harder to disable - and these should be disabled because in Europe red or blue lights in the front of a vehicle are illegal. So far due to weather, haven't yet taken it for a spin. Tested the motors with the wheels suspended. At some speeds, the rotation causes vibration of the frame - perhaps some resonance effect. Maximum speed hit by the suspended wheels was 99 Km/h. Throttle response is pretty violent when set to turbo mode (in any of the 3 "gears"). In eco mode the throttle response and speed limits seem to be the same regardless of the selected "gear". Looking forward for taking if for a ride and obtain further impressions of it.

Ερ: does the 7" fits Toyota Camry 2014?

Ερώτηση από BG195617425 επί 2022-08-12 02:49:23

luis_teixeira Hi, this car stereo should fit on any double height slot that follows the DIN standard. Its dimensions are 178mm * 102mm*43mm, which is within the DIN dimensions x 2 (180 x 50 mm). And because its depth is only 43 mm, it leaves a lot of room behind for ventilation or cabling. For that car in particular you will probably need to replace the dashboard frame around the slot for aesthetic reasons, as it appears to have its own infotainment system featuring a DIN (x2) but with a custom layout of buttons in the front. If your infotainment system provides car functions, you may also want to take that into consideration, as it might be difficult to preserve these functions with the new car stereo.

luis_teixeira It should be firm enough so that there is some resistance to folding. It will get loose again after some rides, so it needs to be tightened periodically. In my case I have added an extra self-locking nut and applied threadlock to the threads around the 2 nuts. If you have to fold the scooter frequently you will notice the noises appear sooner, as there will be some wear to the plastic joint that is sandwiched between the lever and the folding axis. The thickness of the plastic will decrease, causing more slack between the parts.

luis_teixeira@FabioCoelho88 @FabioCoelho88 no meu caso não integrei com as funcionalidades do carro, pois estou a manter o infotainment original. Acrescentei por causa das funcionalidades da camara de marcha atrás, GPS, etc.

luis_teixeira Regarding the missing screw in the headlight - tried to add on and found that the hole was not threaded - that's probably why the missing screw. Probably in the factory because these things are assembled in a rush, they choose to leave it as is, instead of swapping the headlight. Threaded it myself and added the screw.Meanwhile took it for a ride, awesome accelleration. It's like the Tesla of the e-scooters.Different throttle modes could perhaps be a bit simplified and improved in these scooters - in eco mode about half the travel range of the throttle stick is 100%. It would be interesting to have some kind of exponential mode which would combine softer and more precise low throttle with the higher power response in the higher positions of the throttle range. Turbo mode is a bit too violent for startup.

Ερ: does it come with a seat?

Ερώτηση από BG491016555 επί 2022-07-15 02:15:41

luis_teixeira No it doesn't. It needs to be bought separately. More specifically: https://www.banggood.com/Electric-Scooter-Saddle-Seat-Professional-Breathable-43-60cm-Adjustable-High-Shock-Absorbing-Folding-Chair-Cushion-for-LAOTIE-ES18-ES18P-ES19-TI30-p-1783098.html Cheers

Ερ: hello ,whats is the real weight of the scooter? Only scooter.

Ερώτηση από strikertech επί 2022-06-11 07:40:18

luis_teixeira It weights about 50 Kg, just the scooter itself. Battery pack contributes with about 10 Kg of the total weight. Battery deck and most other structural parts are made of relatively thick aluminium parts which are a significant contribution to the overall weight.

luis_teixeira I normally fill my road tires to about 3.2 bar (slightly below 50 psi). I also check the pressure every 2 weeks or so. I think in any case (road or off-road) you should not let the pressure drop too much, because as these are tubeless tires, without enough pressure it won't form a sufficiently strong seal between the rim and the tire, causing air to escape.

luis_teixeira Apparentlythe battery is made up of Lishen LS LR2170SA cells. It is provided by Dongguan Bangsheng Energy Technology Co., Ltd. This seems to be a custom pack not listed in their product catalogue.
