These are probably extremely illegal in my country but nevertheless add extra safety when connected to the brake-light or used as a hazard light. for this the colour should be yellow/amber. or red. I intend to use them as hazard light and will place them inside the red lens so they only show when lit. very nice product for the price. Probably not waterproof, one glass lens was loose in socket, used some clear RTV to seal.no problem.
