First of all, I don't have a lot of experience with "speed cubes." I've mostly used really cheap cubes or novelty cubes (oversized or undersized ones), so part of my fascination with this cube might come from the fact that I've never used a really nice cube. However, I'm really impressed with this thing. Some people complain about the colors. To be honest, I couldn't care less. I can tell them apart and that's all that's important to me. The app is decent enough and there are plenty of fun games to play. Hopefully it'll get some updates and add other features. The build quality is great. The cube is smooth and fast. Battery life seems to be really good. The charger seems good (no cable included, but I think everyone has micro usb cables lying around these days). The app also mentions cube firmware, so I'm guessing the firmware can be updated, too. I've seen some reviews mentioning that the cube doesn't detect movements of the middle section. Mine does. The tracking is not 100% fool-proof, but I've observed that this is mostly due to sloppy movements on my part. If I'm a bit more careful about what I do (and thus more efficient) the app tracks everything. All in all, this is a great item and loads of fun. It's also very affordable. I'm going to order a few more to give away as gifts. Great product!
