it is just fine the mic. the sound card, you have to tune it enough. I had some background noise but it is probably from not tuning it correctly. I use the mic direct from my pc sound card and everything is fine

great kit would need more instructions for the sound card box like it works on built in battery and that the usb port is for charging and not for connecting to pc for audio. It is also a bit cheap in quality IT IS NOT A SOUND CARD BUT A INLINE EFFECTS BOX
