Works as expected. The instructions were not completely clear, so I had to look up how to add flux. You unscrew the top and remove the insert in the bottom half. The instructions seems to imply that you add the flux to the insert - you don't. Instead, pour the flux into the outer portion of the bottom half, filling it maybe halfway. Then, put the insert back in and screw on the top of the pen. Turn so that the tip is pointing down, and squeeze repeatedly to saturate the tip with flux. This will take a while. After squeezing a few times, I just capped it and left it upside down for a while to soak in naturally.
