This is really a top product. The writing end does its job well and feels natural in the hand. The knurled section allows secure gripping of the pen when it needs to be used to strike. The non-writing end is sharpened but not excessively so; I do wonder how much damage it would actually do if you were to strike on the skin. The frame feels very solid and like it could withstand impact, although I have not tested this. The ink cartridge is retractable by means of a smooth twisting motion that feels very elegantly designed. In my opinion this is the perfect self-defense weapon for every-day carry. The clip allows for inconspicuous storage in your shirt pocket, and the pen actual being able to write is a big plus (many don't). Full marks.

This pen looks really strong. The other end is quite sharp. Definitely you can do some harm. Not sure if it can be used as as self defense tool by everyone.

Nice alluminum body, very good and firm grip inside the palm. It is not slippery even with wet hands and good for man to man situation. Haven't tried yet in combat. Also excellent for writing. As an improvement, in could have a slightly harder to spin main body. It also has an extra ink cartridge. But in conclusion it is a nice tool.
