These end joints do have a bit of play, no more than about half a milimiter, but still that might cause some inaccuracies dependently on your use case. If you want a part without any noticable play, the M4 sized ones are the better choice.

I plan to use it in Trex 600 FBL head. Quality semms to be OK as for the price, although one of four bearings I ordere has a bit more spherical play than 3 others.
